Hi,

I'm looking forward to buy a Dell Precision M4800. I'm inclined to wards FHD ultrasharp wide panel but saw many threads where people have mentioned of grainy display (screen door effect.). Said that, Is 1366x768 is better than FHD for this laptop?

Also, is the screen of DELL Latitude E6540 any better than this?

THanks

I haven't read any reviews of either laptop. However, the graininess is generally caused the anti-glare coating. The purpose is to diffuse the light reflected off of the screen. Anti-glare basically depends on the "graininess" to do that.

As for the resolution, I find that 1366x768 to be too low for me to effectively use a laptop or desktop PC. Because I tend to multitask I can have several windows open on the desktop. Basically speaking, the higher the resolution, the more information you can see on the screen. I would go with FHD.
