Is this review/analysis serious? I think about the only thing superior of the m2 MBA is the battery life and certain cpu-focused tasks...everything else points to the s13. Oled screen, better gpu, touch input, lighter, better ports (unless you care about tb4). And it has a fan so it's not going to throttle after the first few minutes of intensive activity.

If you want a MacBook to compare to the 6800u over a long period of time, the m1 pro is better. MBA m2 is not worth after needing to upgrade the storage to 512gb, the ram to 16gb, and up to 10cores. At that point just get the MBP.

The slow SSD speeds of the M2 is unacceptable and should be purported by the media as such. For the same amount of money of the M2 1TB 24GB model you can buy the 14" M1 Pro 1TB 16GB (at Adorama) and get SSD performance on par with all of the main competitors in his high end laptop space (i.e. Lenovo X1 Carbon GEN 10). Apple marketing totally missed the mark on this one, but on purpose...so they could screw the consumer whilst maximizing profits.
