Question Macbook had wine spilt on it but says it is still charging

My brother spilt a glass of wine on my laptop, while it was closed, however it was sitting upright in the couch cushion. The wine must have gotten through the seam and now my laptop will not start, HOWEVER when I plugged it in to charge, it still notes that it is charging (the light is green.) What should I do? It has been a few days.

Firstly, do not connect any more charging, and secondly, contact the nearest service, there may still be a chance to save
