Macbook or MacBook Pro 13''?

I'm looking to buy a MacBook for general use, I will be doing things like Browsing the web, A lot of Skype/Facetime, and even playing some web games/Facebook games.

The only thing that is putting me off the 12'' MacBook is the CPU, And as I am a student I can get it for £900, I can get the base model 2015 MacBook pro for £850. I'm not fussed about Storage or portability as I wont be downloading much and both are pretty easy to carry around. It's just pretty much for when I am not on my PC,

Which would you recommend?

As far as specs go, the mbp is better in pretty much every way but just less storage space if you are looking at the base model of each. Better cpu, igpu, camera, battery life, more ports. The size is hardly different and weight is still low.
