They are very similar in features and performance. Personally, I would go with the newer model given the relatively small price difference. Really up to you and your budget.

For that price, you're also not far from the 15" with a much more powerful 4-core i7. $1900 is too dang pricey for a dual core processor today IMO. But, it's Apple...
