Macro Lens help

Hi, I have recently bought a Canon 7D, and I want to get into Macro Photography. I want a Canon lens, but I'm not sure which lens is best. I want the lens pretty much only for Macro photography

Another would be a cheaper alternative to the 100mm IS, is the one without. If you are looking to save a few buck. "IS" doesn't seem to be practical, unless you do macro handheld. Majority of the time I shot using a tripod so IS is not a big deal.
