Magic remote not working properly

Hi there my magic remote works but the chanel buttons and motion doesnt work I've tired several ways to make the remote fully work but no joy, could you please help me out.

my magic wand doesn't work because I can't scare up any details oh what you are talking about--lol supposed to be funny. What is the Make, Model of remote and TV (maybe that won't work with your TV, does it say it does)
