I'm going to agree with you, I don't really understand why this is really a relevant article in the first place, but the comments are almost as ignorant as the guy robbing the restaurant. Why comment at all if you're just insulting a brand? I am an iPhone owner, any to be honest it's the easiest hardware to repair, phone wise, i've ever owned (hobby of mine is electronics repair) , Sony hardware is fragile, and cheap. the PSP is not a portable gaming device for people who leave the house and may drop it- ever... and I agree with certain mistakes like the reception problems with the iphone 4, even though i don't have them i won't discredit them... Apple is just another brand. I had a terrible experience with Dell, that mother board fried 3 times in a year! But i don't get on every forum and dog them... they fixed it for free until my warranty ran out.. then i bought a mac, but Dell makes good computers..
i think we see competition, so we hate the competitor. OR we see something we don't understand, and we're afraid of it, so we persecute it. but the truth is EVERY cell phone company in america is trying to be the iphone, and that is not speculation, that is fact - everyone wants an app store, everyone wants a touch screen interface.. and the google OS is the only competitor even close that i've seen. Win7Mobile is still new, so perhaps it can be something, but MS has a history of pumping money into a market and doing it rushed, and poorly.. like Internet Explorer... bleh.. So if you wanna dog on a company, that's your prerogative, but next time, try to sound educated when you do because you come off like a bunch of babbling buffoons at the moment.. just saying.
[citation][nom]psymonjoseph[/nom]..to be devil's advocate: it is disheartening that no one here, thus far (and rarely, if ever in these wonderful comments), considered (at least in written response) the possibility that the man perhaps had employment when purchasing said iphone, and that perhaps we was replaced by (fill in the blank - could be immigrant worker, could of been some sort of automation; perhaps the business he worked for downsized, etc)...of course, he could of been fired for smoking crack - who knows for sure, as it certainly wasn't printed here....of course, this is pure speculation, and perhaps it is more fun to make a jest at one's misfortune (and obviously stupid decisions) - but a couple of things are evident: he presumably used the iphone IN HIS POCKET as a gun, and is not stated whether said iphone was active (an iphone could still be used for phone purposes, off network, via wifi and skype, google voice, etc..)...I realize commenting here is all in good fun, but ignorance and presumptuousness sadly shows a shallow character....just sayin.... - Happy New Year to all![/citation]
