Managing Storage Android

I bought MOTO G , on which i installed dropbox , which automatically saves my pictures on cloud.
also i have something named "Google PHOTOS" on my gmail , what is that ?

it also has some photos , so are these dropbox and google photos files taking space on my phone also ?

also how can i save space ?

No Google photos and drop-box are online storage solutions, to save some space you can try removing apps you don't use or use very rarely,and you can move the files(documents,music,photo's) off the phone and onto your computer, Hope that helps
