I think I'm the only person I know who thinks Mark Wahlberg is a terrible actor. Even in good movies like The Departed he's lousy.

He is a bad actor and he has zero comic timing whatsoever. He is completely wrong for the role. Nathan Fillion is perfect for the role as he is one of the few actors able to easily slip between serious action hero and comedy. Heck the Rock would be a better choice than Wahlberg.

If Nathan Fillion lost about 10 lbs and the script wasn't atrocious, it would be worth watching--much like how Robert Downey Jr. made Shirlock Holmes decent...of course Rachel McAdams didn't hurt. Will she be in the Uncharted Movie?

I really wish Walberg had some concept of comedy. A former underwear model pretending to be a hardass just doesn't carry a movie.

Of course, with Nathan Fillion and a good script--it could be a hit! They should take that road even if Nathan Fillion doesn't want to be in as good of shape as he was in Firefly. So I guess everybody's in agreement that this movie's gonna disappoint?

I couldn't bare watching max payne except for 1 time. It really didn't do this exceptional game any justice. Hopefully, this movie will be better

Why this douche bag gets any roles at all is beyond me. I cannot think of a single movie he has been in that has been worth watching. He acting hurts me in my spleen if I try to watch it. Nathan Fillion would be an excellent choice...

Or you could even go the route of Ben Browder. It would have to be an obvious choice to have Claudia Black as Chloe Frazier and with Ben and Claudia's screen chemistry it would make for a good movie.

Hell of a lot better than Marky Mark and the Cornhole Bunch.

to be fair he's nto the worse pick they could make for it... I'd go as far as to say wahlburg is a decent choice for the role... but he's not the best choice for the role by any means... i'd like to see filian as much as the next guy... but at least its not vin diesel

I like Wahlberg but it's a shame they didn't take the gamble and give it to Nolan North. Keeping Nathan Drake's voice would be great and he's capable of the right look. Coulda been huge for him.

It's not the actors fault that max payne was horrible. The movie just didn't have anything to do with the enviroment the games are set in. It was just an aweful director and horrible script.

Dude...she is only 38. I wouldn't call that exactly old. She is still has a rockin' body and do not even act like you would kick her out of bed.

You are spot on the "action AND COMEDY". Comedic timing will be a must for the person to play Drake and Marky Mark does not have that.
