Mcrium Reflect Error

Hey everyone!

So ive got the old hard drive i need to clone for a client. it is a 512 byte sector drive, going to a 1 TB 4k sector drive. Apparently that shouldnt matter. When i try to clone the disk in Macrium Reflect, it gives incompatibility error Incompatible sector size for this operation even though it shouldnt matter. Is there a way to fix this?

Are you cloning to the same partition size?

The 1 TB is unallocated as the client is a gamer and needs the extra space.

Are you cloning it to the same partition size as the old one then expand it or are you doing something else?

Is that what I should do. But you can only expand volumes, I would need a second tool to expand, but if I create a partition that is the same size would that fix the error?

Yes if you clone it to the same size, it should work.
