Media player keeps closing down

After opening media player to add CDs to library. Media player just closes down after a few seconds, have tried numerous times but media player just keeps closing down. Help

Open it so that it crashes a couple times and make note of the time & date, then open event viewer and check windows logs > application logs and see if any errors show up for windows media player around that time of day (assuming you're talking about windows media player)

You could also check windows updates for an update to media player and see if installing that fixes the problem
