What do I do if my music won't play on my mp3 player

Re-encode music using a well known codec most play recognize such as LAME, and some player can't deal with Variable Bit rates, then you must limit yourself to constant bit rate.

If at all possible, u want to encode from original CD or .wav. not mp3 --> mp3.
