I recently purchased a new E55-E2 and it with this cheesy remote that doesn't have a button to access the advanced menu settings like EQ and other audio settings. Can I purchase a better remote for this TV? Will a better remote give me access to the settings that I want to change?

The remote that comes with the TV has a menu button, Then you need to scroll down to the audio menu and then to the EQ. Vizio doesn't have a remote code that will take you directly to the EQ menu.
If you got a remote that would allow you to create a macro that will combine each individual button push into one button that would work.

The remote has a menu button but it only seems to "change aspect ratio" and nothing more. I have tried using the up and down buttons for the volume and channel change, but I get no response in the supposed menu. How do you scroll to the different categories?
