This would be sweet if it carries sound well enough underwater, I still think waterproof in ear headphones would be better for underwater listening. Although for exercising out of the water this seems good enough.

That is cool but, I doubt many swimmers will be able to wear them without them falling off.

how do you get the music to listen to... don't think my mp3 player is waterproof...

Using some kind of contact pad(flat meta plates used to charge and pass data) and not a traditional plug will allow you to get the music on the device. Many GPS units use this as well to keep water out.

According to Mi-Sport the band is a spring loaded type when opening and closing to hold the speakers snug against your ears, but there is also a band accessory to have a tighter fit if needs be. They say they stay on well even when turning at each end.
I think I would give these a go. My in ear player is ok but as soon as water gets in they are useless.
On their website they have a bluetooth version also advertised.

The gym I swim at already has music playing under water, and they usually keep the radio tuned to the same station I do. But I think bandeto is right, I cant see how a swimmer would wear these without them being pulled of by the drag of the water.

Actually I can`t see how they would come off. The earhooks are hooked right over your ears. Surely they can`t come off with that, even with water drag. If there was no hooks I would agree, but I think the hooks would keep it secure. I will let you know if I am right!

The one in the article may be the first wireless, waterproof model with text-to-speech, but the title is misleading.

I think Finis were the first even before then and the Oregon Scientific was earlier also. I`ve looked at Mi-Sport`s website and the one on there is bluetooth. I suppose there is nothing new about any of it technology wise, but I haven`t seen anything with all that functionality in one unit.

The Mi-Sport bluetooth headphones definately have more functionality and possibilities than any others I have seen.
