Microhpone not working

My PSU just went out and my replacement came in, and I turned my computer on, and I tried calling my friend on Skype but my mic didn't work. I tried Steam and it still didn't work. his happened a while ago but then it started working again. I have a Razer Kraken Pro. THe speakers work. but the microphone doesn't. Can anyone please help me?

Right click on the volume icon in the task bar, then click on "recording devices". Find your headset's microphone and then click "set as default"
