Microsoft Announces Live TV Streaming for Xbox

Maybe MS should fix Skype first and unless mine and all the other internet providers changes to unlimited download this movie streaming shit is not going to take off.

I'm confused. Isn't the Xbox meant to be used while connected to a TV? Then why is there a need to stream TV to Xbox?

Because some of us, myself included, would like to save money and have a better TV watching experience than what our monopolistic cable providers provide. I also don't want yet another box in my cabinet. Most people that have TV's are not just getting over the air signals. I have dish network and would LOVE to dump it.
