Microsoft Legal to Go After Modern Warfare 2 Pirates

MS wants you to play on their DRM infected control your PC crap service Games for Winblows Live (GFWL) if you have a PC so that is why they twisted Activisions arm to LAN support and such. I say F*ck you MS and your F*cking GFWL too, this game will not see my PC.
Battlefield 2 is doing just fine.

Can I get a big Hoo-rah for BF2?!?! Everyone in this forum seems to be completely polarized on this subject, but fear not! There is a very simple solution that we can all agree on.
1) MW2 is an overpriced, stripped down, cash grabbing, "non-upgrade" of a game
2) DICE (one of my favorite devs) has a sequel (of sorts) to BF2 (one of my favorite modern shooters) in "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" coming out in March about which they have specifically stated: "PC users go through a bunch more crap than the console players so we're going to give them a bonus in dedicated servers"
3) we should ALL show our distaste with Activision and Infinity Ward by NOT buying their products and we should show support for great, generous devs like DICE by buying their clearly superior products.

These are useless words from MS. The worst possible thing that will happen is that they will ban the modified console from XBL. That's not going to do anything to stop the serious pirates. The Xbox Arcade is now $200, so it's easy enough to keep an extra console just to use on XBL. $200 is less than the cost of 4 games. Also, the bans haven't been as effective as the original Xbox bans since it was easy for them to detect the flashed BIOS on the original console. On the 360, the DVD drive gets hacked, so it can be difficult for them to truly detect a hacked consoles. In fact, they already made mistakes and had to unban some consoles when they found out that their algorithm was faulty and could sometimes cause a false positive on DVD drives with weaker lasers. This is all just talk.

Just look at the entitlement mentality. LOL, people if you think a game is too expensive, don't buy it. But that does NOT give you the right to steal and pirate the game!

I love the excuse, imagine a thief telling a judge, "I had to steal that Mercades, they were asking $100,000 for it and I won't pay more than $5000 for any car! It costs them only $20000 to make it so I have a right to steal it". Judge: "That was the lamest defense I've heard, sentence is the max of 10 years".
