Wow, I was actually quite intriqued by Win7 phone but; gaming was a big aspect of that. I do not require gore in my games but the option is a requirement. On porn, I don't really care about the apps as you can always browse for it, the games decision is a deal killer though.

Had hopes to get Win Mobile 7 sometime next year, but after reading this, looks like Android will be the "mobile PC". I wonder if Windows 8 will have the same rules 🙂 Maybe MS will restrict what we can and cannot install.

I don't understand the demand for porn on a phone. A phone is no different than a console, and you won't find any porn sold on a console unless you buy some bootleg software. If you need to buy porn for your phone, then you should probably seek counseling.

I personally wouldn't mind it as much. Not because I'm a supporter of Microsoft/Apple's moral crusade, but because if I wanted porn or violence on my phone - I'll load it up myself.

Look- all this says is Microsoft is not going to be supplying you porn. Just like on every OS they've ever released, porn is abundant, but MS isn't going to package in a brazzers sub with Office 2010.

The sky is not falling. Calm down. Unless Microsoft restricts content to ONLY their 'Marketplace", ala Apple, then you'll still be able to install third party porn apps until you go blind.
