I've played Minecraft on this pc before, i would get 200fps sometimes 300 fps on it. I reinstalled it and now its lagging like crazy.
I investigated and Minecraft is using only 1gb of RAM and that seems to be the problem.
Im running it on a Windows 10 pc, 64bit,
Intel i5-2400 3.10 GHz,
Nvidia Gtx 1050 OC.
I have 12Gb of RAM and its not being used that much by other programs, so i have about 9Gb of available ram.
I tried to allocate more ram to Minecraft but Java crashes and minecraft doesnt launch.
I tried giving it 2gb 3gb 4gb, nothing worked.
It says:
Could not reserve enough space for 3145728KB object heap
Is windows not allowing Minecraft to take that much ram? If so how do i allow it?
Java is running the latest version as well.
