Missing printer port? ? ?

A friend recently bought a new laptop and was surprised to discover it had
no printer port. This is an older, but good printer which she wants to use.

I guess my question is, can she get a USB dongle which has a standard
printer-port connection?

You can find a USB to Parallel cable converter at:

Or your could try a wireless router with a print server, that's what
I'm using, it works great.

Thanks Sumarai

Yes, I use a print server myself, and like it.

I gather there's something called a minidock which has several ports. My
friend might get that.
