Mobil hdmi TV

I have a hdmi TV only a year old.Also have a Sony Xperia z3 I'm trying to play films on the TV via my phone, yet can't get it to work, even if I plug hdmi cable to phone and TV it still doesn't work, any one now why

Your TV would have to have an MHL - HDMI input to make the connection to your phone. Make sure it has one and that you have connected to it (only one HDMI is MHL compatible).

If you don't have an MHL input then you could try this
