Hi,

I was leaning towards the 26" Aquos and went across to the local Circuit
City and was really disappointed by the non-HD picture quality.

Considering that most programming is still not HD, I am no longer inclined
towards this model.

I live in a medium-sized studio. Would it be more cost effective for me to
just purchase a regular CRT-based HDTV set? If so, can you guys please
recommend some models.

I was looking for something that was widescreen and not larger than 27". For
a CRT, I guess my budget tops out at about $800.

Thanks in advance.

There's a nice 30" toshiba CRT HD widescreen in a narrow case (31.5"
wide)

Speakers are under the screen so there's no cabinet bloat.
