Solved! Moderately Priced Gaming Laptop

Hello,

I am looking for a laptol for uni, won't likely be using it for games like the Witcher 3 or GTA V. The most demanding game likely to be played is Overwatch/Hitman.

Somewhere in the range of £600-£700 would be ideal, I'm struggling to find one myself.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

£700 us about $915 USD. This is what we recommend for an entry level gaming lappie. A 1060 will get you up around 60 fps @ 1080p on the desktop in Hitman,... mobile version slightly less. You'll get more in Witcher 5 (70ish) and GTAV (90ish) ... again desktop models

The 1050 delivers 30 fps in Hitman, 1050 Ti about 45 fps ... still desktop. Remember however, that due to the large increases in nVidia cards w/ regard to efficiency, the mobile versions fall only slightly behind the desktop versions.

Yeah, when I think about it, Hitman runs poorly on my desktop so I doubt I'll run that on the laptop when it arrives.

I'll have a look at the pcspecialist although I think that comes out to around the same price as some other laptops I've seen (closer to £800). Also, I'm leaving on the 17th and I fear that a custom build won't arrive in time for that.
