Moto G 2nd gen fell into water..help!!

Moto G 2nd gen fell into water..took it out immediately..power was still on. switched it off and dried the externals. but when i swich on again see some spots on the screen. removed the screen guard too and dried with a soft cloth. no help..
what to do next?

This is a serious suggestion. Put as much rice into the open case as you can. It will seek out and dry out more liquid than you'll ever find with a cloth. Leave it in there for a day, preferably in a warm room
