What channel on my tv do I have set to operate my dct 2524/1612

If you're using the Coax connection, it should be either channel three or four. If using any other connection, it should be that TV's input. For instance: If you're using a composite connection from the set top box to the TV, you should be using something like AV1 on the tv.
