MSI Afterburner to show JUST the fps when recording

Ok so, I'm using MSI to record all my gameplay but I don't want it to show the extra nonsense like time of the video, how big it is. Can I just show the fps like fraps or bandicam during the gameplay but not showing it in the video? Or will I have to deal with it?
