MSI? AlienWare? Lenovo? Help me choose?

I drive a truck across country and I am looking for a gaming laptop to use during my downtime. I keep ending up looking at this MSI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=34-152-903

1. What is your budget?
$1000+/-

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
15.6 inch will do just fine, but will accept up to a 17inch

3. What screen resolution do you want?
1600x900 minimal

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable (Gaming) Laptop

5. How much battery life do you need?
Not really that important as it will be plugged in while use 95% of the time.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low, Medium or High)?

Medium - High settings on the following.

1) H1Z1
2) Tom Clancy Blacklist
3) Guild Wars 2
4) CSGO


7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

No real special task, just gaming, web surfing and maybe some Netflix.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

500GB-1TB

Asus, MSI, Acer, Lenovo, Alienware = Trusted (Best read reviews of said brands)
Dell, HP = Not Trusted (Past experiences with these brands have left a bad taste in my mouth)

Not a bad looking deal. The GTX 960M should give you pretty good frame rates at 1600x900. If you haven't seen Sager laptops, you should check them out. They are usually a pretty good value , too.

Yea I was looking at those, they seem to e a popular brand and it looks to be a quality build Laptop and the prices are dang near the same as the MSI and Alienware 13.
