Is this laptop any good?

The price seems fair for the hardware, and the weight is okay as well.

I am more concerned about the keyboard, battery life and the overall quality of build. Do any of you own this laptop and know if the keyboard is good and how long is the battery life? Is there any overheat issues?

MSI is not "good" in any way

HP designs are poor (cooling design, keyboard/touchpad designs on most)

Most Dell's is made very well (custom make them on there website!)

Toshiba all of them suffer the same fault after a few years

MSI makes great gaming notebooks.

Those MSI GE60s have the new Ivy Bridge CPUs and a new Nvidia Kepler graphics card. Should be a very capable all-rounder too.
