MSI GE62 6QF Apachi Pro, no screen on boot

Ive had this laptop for three weeks and am having an intermittent issue. After the computer has been shut down, the next time I power it on the screen remains blank.. its not even blacklit. I have to shut it down 2 additional times before the screen will function as normal. All the drivers and Win10 are all up to date.. any ideas?

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by installing the latest BIOS version update from MSI support.
- Here's the link: http/download.msi.com/bos_exe/nb/E16J4IMS.10C.zip
- Reboot your laptop once the latest BIOS version has been installed then test it again.
- If the same problem will persist do also a clean install of the graphics card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics driver.
- Once done, check Programs and Features as well and uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Next is to download and install the latest driver from Nvidia support site.

- Once installed reboot your laptop for all the changes to take effect.
- After the reboot do test it again and see if the same problem will persist or not.
