MSI GE62VR vs. MSI GT72VR

These laptops have identical specs (besides being different sizes) but the price is completly different, is there a difference or an advantage to the gt72 that i am just not seeing

the more expensive one (MSI VR Ready GT72VR Dominator) has a bigger screen (17.3 vs 15.6 inches) w/GSync, SSD with twice the capacity (256GB vs 128GB) and more RAM (16 vs 12 GB) and faster too (DDR4 2400MHz vs DDR4 2133MHz). Whether those slightly higher specs justify the higher price, i think you can better decide based on your needs.

I was looking these two laptops and they have a very similar pricetag and which one would be better for gaming. (note i dont care about weight or thickness, only gaming performance, cooling, and price)

In addition to the things mentioned by starscream17, the MSI GT series is considered their top of the line series (probably better build quality, and usually heavier). Not sure where the GE series falls in their hierarchy of laptops.
