MSI GT62VR vs Acer Predator 17 (Refurb)

Looking at getting a gaming laptop, I was first considering a laptop with a 1060 but saw that you can get a refurbished one with a 1070 for roughly the same price. Is the 1070 worth the risk of buying refurbished? I would buy neweggs 1 year warranty if that helps? I cant decide between the
MSI GT62VR vs Acer Predator 17. They are both very similar but the acer seems like it runs really hot. Anyone know of the msi as any better heat management?

I always look for a refurb if there is one available. I have only had an issue one time, and that was with a PSU which I was able to replace. It is a gamble, but typically much cheaper.

As for the laptops, I would go with the Acer beacuse it has a bigger screen. They can all run a little hot, just make sure it has room to breath and you will be fine.
