They will both perform nearly indentically from the specs.

Keep in mind both have a GTX1060, which means for practically every game out there, you will not get near 144hz/FPS. So, in that case, I'd go with whicever one looks best to you, and is cheapest.

What is your current lappie specs with the 120hz panel?

edit: apologies. Just realised the 120hz is the Asus ROG. IN that case, i'd take the 120hz panel (The Asus) as the gtx1060 is much more likely to hit it's native res. The 144hz panel is wasted.
