msi z97 gaming 5 for akg k712 amp

Hi, does my msi z97 gaming 5 for an "akg k712" is worth an external amp? (o2) and/or dac(odac)?
Because my motherboard already have shield/amp and the last realtek chipset ALC1150 that seem better than any 120dollars DAC and AMP.

From my point of view, motherboard has come very close to what in audio, sound "good". And it's going to be better and better.
For the DAC i think the ALC1150 doesn't have audible difference for 99.99% of people running standards schiit/odac.
But actualy, for the amp i'm not very certain...

If some good and unbiased soule could help me
