My 128gb stick with usb2.0 wont work properly

Can anyone tewll me why is it that i can transfer movies to my usb2.0 stick, but can only play one on my telly as it wont reconise the other movies, the stick is 128gb

The movie format is AVI, the stick will play one movie but when you bring up another movie the stick wont read it????
