my 25- character product key isn't working

My 25 character product key isn't working! It's on the bottom of my laptop but it keeps saying that its wrong and I keep looking at it and retyping it but it still doesn't work. Is there any other way of getting into my Microsoft word without re-downloading it?

That's the Windows key, not the Microsoft Office key.

It should be somewhere in the packaging for Office.
