my acer computer will not turn on

I plug a wrong power cord into my Acer desk top computer, it spark and now it want power on with the right power cord, HELP PLEASE? How can I fix this problem?

Depending on the voltage you applied to the laptop, you could have possibly burned out the motherboard. More than likely this isn't going to be a problem that anyone on this fourm is going to be able to fix. You might want to get it checked out by a local computer repair store. Normally they can do diagnostics and figure out what's wrong on the spot for a minimal fee.

The best you can hope for is that your Power Supply was fried but did its job by protecting your other parts...

Hi, what is the model of Acer do you have? Hopefully you didn't burn a major component on the motherboard.
