My acer computer won't load icons

When I turn it on, it goes black, restart it and it don't have the icon like Internet ect, then restart it and it has the icon but won't let me click on it

Could be that your profile isn't being properly loaded because it's become corrupted. If there's a backup of the profile stored somewhere, that location can be found in the Registry and you could replace the corrupt file with the backup.

For starters, can you get into the Registry by pressing your Windows key and R together?
