my acer just wont work

So i have an acer, at first it wouldnt let me boot it would only take me to the blue screen and i did every tip i could find to fix it but had no luck. Now it will not show anything on the screen when it comes on, its just black i have checked and it is not the light and i have tried pluging it up to a different screen in different ways. I was told that i had a corrupted hard drive so i got a new one and checked the ram and still nothing. I dont know what else i can do and i have come here before and found help so if anyone has and advice please let me know

You may have a bad board.

So connecting a new drive doesn't change anything? Does anything different happen if you leave no drive installed? Also: How many sticks of RAM does the computer have?

I don't know who would tell you to get a new hard drive when you have no display. Nothing comes on the screen when you turn on the laptop? No BIOS screen, nothing? Does the system at least turn on when you hit the power button, power light, battery light, those things come on or no? Fan spins, drive sounds like it's spinning?
