My Acer laptop has a problem with the hardware.

When I press the power button once it doesnt respond until i press it continuously but then still when it powers on it shows a black screen.

battery, charger or motherboard fault

remove battery, try with charger only
replace charger
try without HDD
try with an external monitor
if more then one RAM is installed, remove one, try all available slots with one of the RAM sticks
