My android phone does not see my sd card anymore?

Recently added a SD Card to my STK Storm 2e Pluz device. It worked fine at first, but I noticed that after about a month the phone gave an error message about being out of storage. I realized it was not using the storage of the card at all. A local technician advised me to reset the phone to factory settings. Now the card does not show at all, only Internal Storage! What am I to do? Can this be fixed?

Try inserting the card to a different phone to see if it works on that one. If it doesn't, it might have been corrupted or damaged.
