My android phone wont turn on

Hello,
my android samsung is not powering on. when i hold the power button the battery appears on the screen then it goes out again. It happened after I unplugged my phone from my home charger and a red light was on telling me my phone was still charging when it wasnt connected to a charger so i powered it off and now it wont come back on

Take the battery out and leave it for ten minutes then pop it back and see if that made a difference.

your battery was most likey overcharged and you will probably have to get a new one.
