My Asus keyboard keys are not working properly

I was in Windows 7 ultimate and everything was working fine until I upgraded it to windows 8, it works fine for a couple of weeks and then it just suddenly mulfunction. Keys missing are A,R,1,0,Esc, and delete.. those keys doesn't work when I'm typing but when I'm using it in other applications such as search and playing games, it works just fine.. which means my keyboards hardware isn't broken. Is there anything I could do to fix this? I already tried uninstalling and restarting it but it didn't work.
Please help.

Try connecting an external keyboard and see if it works fine. If it does, then it could be the keys themselves that are the issue.
