My Asus laptop is stuck in updating. There is no removable battery.

My laptop has been stuck in updating for 3 hours. I have work to do, and I can’t get it to stop updating. I already tried shutting down the computer by holding down the power button for 10 seconds. I heard it click off. I waited 10 minutes before cutting it back on, but when I did it it still went right back to updating.

Did you find a solution? Mines been doing the same since just before Christmas . Hope to hear a 'how to' fix :/
