My ASUS laptop model number AR5B125 isn't turning on

My ASUS laptop model number AR5B125 isn't turning on. i was on facebook and i plugged my headphones to watch a video when i plugged my headphones in my laptop the laptop shut off i tried turning it back on when i hit the power button it didn't do anything. Then i thought my laptop dies so i plugged it in, the charging indicator light didn't turn on so i tried another outlet. please help if you can, if not don't sweat it

Do try some of these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Do a hard reset, unplug the laptop from the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds then try to boot the laptop.
- If that doesn't power on and there's still no light either on the charger and the laptop try another AC adapter first and see if it would power the laptop but if not you may need to contact Asus Support for a repair if it's still under the factory warranty.
