Solved! My Asus laptop won't open the password box to log in it just shows screensaver..

When I turn on my Asus laptop it won't let the password box pop up to log in it just shows the screen saver what did I do?

If it is showing a screensaver, then it wasn't 'off', it was either sleeping or hibernating. You need to completely power it off and then turn it back on.
