My asus x540LB laptop won't turn off properly. Please help

My asus x540LB laptop wont shut down properly. When i try to shut down it closes but after maybe 10 seconds it turns on again and the small signal light at the left side corner still on. I was expecting that it is close but when i try to open again, it automatically turns on and it drains my battery fast so i ended up charging everytime. Please help.. I buy this 5days ago and it bothers me because i buy this from other city and it took me three hours to travel so i cannot take there for check up.

If you just bought it then you need to return it. There is something wrong with the laptop.
