My base phone lost all the contacts when sim is ported.how can I recover the contacts

My base set had docomo sim in it.after porting no contacts found in new sim.how will I recover my contacts?

How were those contacts saved? If you had them in some online account, Google, your provider account, when you logon to that account they will return. If it was on the local storage, you need to turn on your old phone and copy them out or move them to online account, or back them up to a computer or an SD card.
