Solved! My bluetooth headphones' microphone doesn't work when in wired mode

I have the Monster Icon wireless headphones. These have the option to use a cable to make a wired connection. I do this when playing games because in bluetooth mode there is a slight sound delay. However, when in wired mode, the microphone simply does not work. I cannot find it as an input, and nobody can hear me. The microphone works perfectly well in bluetooth mode.

Probably exactly how it is designed. Look at the wire, if it is a 3 pole one, it's audio only no mic.
