Did it run out of battery? Did you try it while plugging it

Yes its fully charged. Today was first use, it froze turned itself off, made lots of noises and I would not turn back on, plugged into the ac or when not plugged in, but the green light is on

Please try holding down the power button for 30 seconds. This will force your laptop to turn off by itself, after that turn it on again.
